At the final stage of testing, there is a mobile application for making appointments with notaries and checking documents issued by them via QR code. The head of the Federal Notary Chamber, Konstantin Korsik, announced this at a meeting in the Federation Council.
The application should be ready by March, and we will strive to integrate it with the government services portalsaid Konstantin Korsik.
According to him, in order for the applicant to take advantage of all the benefits of “digital”, it is important to ensure the possibility of presenting such documents at the place of request.
Deputy Head of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy under the Federation Council Irina Rukavishnikova recalled that users of the public services portal can already sign up and visit a notary at a convenient time and without waiting in line, as well as attach the necessary documents and other necessary information to the appointment. The most popular actions were certifying a power of attorney, opening or joining an inheritance case, certifying the spouse’s consent to a transaction, certifying a will, witnessing copies and extracts from documents.
The senator added that there are proposals to add additional options to the online registration card, for example, about the need for a translator. The service must also be adapted for people with disabilities.
