In Evpatoria, a local resident will appear before the court on charges of murdering his ex-wife. A 43-year-old man is accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberate destruction of another’s property), part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). In early March of this year, after drinking alcohol, a man, returning home, saw a parked Chevrolet car, which belongs to a friend of his ex-wife. The defendant took a stone and hit it on the vehicle, damaging the windshield. A few hours later, out of jealousy, a man, being in the corridor of an office building near Pobedy Avenue in Yevpatoria, stabbed his ex-wife several times with a knife in the chest area. The woman died at the scene from her injuries.the prosecutor’s office said.
A measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen against the man.
The criminal case was sent to the Evpatoria City Court for consideration. The killer «shines» 15 years in a strict regime colony.
