Jealousy, quarrel, fight, “injury”, shooting… 7 years in prison are on the horizon. A cautionary tale from Sevastopol

Sevastopol police detained a suspect who caused harm to the health of his beloved and threatened her with a traumatic weapon.
During a conflict with the lady of his heart, a 37-year-old local resident inflicted bodily injuries on her, after which he took out a traumatic pistol and, threatening with violence, began shooting at the ground,” said the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The police found out that a quarrel motivated by jealousy occurred between the detainee and his 32-year-old girlfriend, during which the couple began to sort things out while on the street near a residential building. Angry, the man knocked his girlfriend down and dragged him several meters along the ground, but the victim was able to escape and continued to resist, and also wanted to damage the car in retaliation. Then the gentleman took out a traumatic pistol that was with him and, uttering death threats, fired six shots into the ground in front of the girl. Citizens passing by, who witnessed the conflict and heard the shooting, called the police.
Officers from a separate company of the PPSP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district immediately arrived at the scene of the incident, detained the rowdy with a traumatic weapon, which he legally owned, and took him to the police department for further investigation.,” noted the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee based on crimes under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism”), Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of minor harm to health”) and Part 1 of Art. 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Threat of murder or infliction of grievous bodily harm”). He faces a penalty of imprisonment for up to seven years.
