Crimean Federal University will accept 40 students from the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics as part of the Summer University project. The opening ceremony of the project will take place on 10 July at 12: 00. Within two weeks, students will master an additional general education program in the field of «Agriculture», undergo educational intensives and carry out social projects under the guidance of the teaching staff of our university.
The modules of the program contain information on modern technologies in field farming and agricultural technology of organic crop production in the Crimea, and the guys will also study the topic of processing agricultural products in the Crimea. In addition, they will visit an excursion to a trout farm in the city of Alushta, the Crimean Rose plant and the Alma Valley winery. We have also developed a summer program for the development of «Soft Skills», during which our guests will master the skills of systems thinking, project management, teamwork, emotional intelligence and intellectual flexibility. I think it will be very interesting!, — the press service of the university quotes the head of the department of additional education and vocational guidance of KFU Svetlana Khrapunova.
In addition to the educational component, students will have an excursion program, sports events, thematic meetings, master classes.
The Summer University is an international project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. This year, more than 670 students from nine countries will take part in it, who will be able to gain new knowledge at the sites of 14 Russian universities. The main goal of the project is to immerse foreign students in the Russian scientific and educational space and create sustainable international student communities based on the leading Russian universities.
