Or rather, the people called this day — Mitrofan Navoznik. And they respected Mitrofan endlessly, believing that it was he who is the key to the future crop. The church now honors St. Mitrofan-the Metropolitan of Constantinople, who lived in the III-IV centuries. Once Byzantium was visited by Emperor Konstantin the Great. Seeing the wisdom and holiness of Mitrofan, he invited him to go to Rome with him. After that, the capital was moved from Rome and Byzantium, and there Mitrofan became a patriarch in 325, which was facilitated by the petition of the emperor in the I Ecumenical Council. The saint died at the age of 117 years.
