They also said that it was impossible to quarrel on June 9, because “Fedora is trying to find out about bad things around the corner.”
And on June 9, they didn’t sweep the hut, because they believed that on this day the brownie climbed under the broom and could be swept away along with the rubbish. And this literally means missing out on happiness, because there will be no one to protect the family.
Also on June 9, they began to collect yarrow flowers for the preparation of medicines. At this time, violets and linden trees were blooming.
The Church today honors the memory of the martyr Theodora (Fedora). She suffered for her faith in Christ in 304 along with the warrior Didymus who defended her.
