In Sevastopol, criminal investigation officers detained a suspect who stole a guitar from a casual acquaintance. As the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said, taking advantage of the victim’s helpless state (you still need to drink less), the attacker stole a musical instrument worth 5 thousand rubles that was with him.
It was established that a 66-year-old local resident met two men on the street and drank alcohol with them. After drinking heavily, he fell asleep at a public transport stop, which one of his new friends took advantage of. The attacker searched the personal belongings of the sleeping man and, not finding anything valuable, took the guitar that was with him, and then disappeared in an unknown direction.— the police gave details.
As a result of operational search activities, the suspect was detained by officers of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Leninsky district, and the stolen instrument was seized. The investigation department opened a criminal case against the defendant under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”). The sanction of the article provides for up to two years of imprisonment.
