K-telecom will invest almost 4 billion rubles in the economy of Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The government of Sevastopol and the telecom operator OOO K-telecom (Win mobile) signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of information and telecommunications infrastructure during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The agreement was signed by Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev and General Director of K-Telecom LLC Anton Golikov. As part of the agreement, K-telecom LLC will continue the formation of a modern telecommunications infrastructure and its development in Sevastopol.

This is a positive step in the development of the city and improving the quality of life of its residents. I am sure that thanks to this agreement, the city will have access to the latest technologies and Internet services, as well as improve the quality of communication service and access to the Internet. This is an excellent example of how the combined efforts of the Government and the private sector can lead to beneficial outcomes for all residents of the city.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The operator’s work is aimed, among other things, at the availability of high-quality communication services for residents of rural settlements, ensuring the operation of socially significant facilities, and people interacting with them. From 2023 to 2025, the operator’s investments in the economy of Sevastopol will amount to about 4 billion rubles.

The agreement will contribute to the successful interaction of the telecom operator and the Government of Sevastopol in the implementation of projects important for the city aimed at its economic development and digitalization. The development of a mobile radiotelephone network will allow residents and guests of the city to use high-quality communication services and high-speed access to the Internet— notes Anton Golikov.

In the area of the operator’s network there are children’s health camps, including federal ones, tourist recreation centers, tourist routes of the Great Sevastopol Trail. Since the beginning of 2023 alone, the operator has put 12 base stations on the air, including in the villages of Polyushko and Peredovoye.
