KamAZ and a foreign car: an investigation is underway in Sevastopol into an accident in which two adults and a child were injured

According to preliminary information from the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol, on November 2 at 15:30, a 47-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Lanos car at 47 km of the Simferopol-Bakhchisarai-Sevastopol highway, when leaving a secondary road to the main one, did not give priority in traffic and collided with a truck A KamAZ truck driven by a 62-year-old driver was driving straight along the main road.

At the time of the vehicle collision, a 24-year-old passenger and a 12-year-old child were inside the car. As a result of the accident, the driver of the foreign car, as well as his two passengers, were taken to the city hospital with injuries of varying severity. There were no signs of intoxication among the drivers. Currently, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and other units of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol are working at the scene of the incident. All circumstances of the road accident are being clarified,” noted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.

The police are conducting an investigation into the traffic accident with the victims, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made.
