“Kapraz” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces became a victim of either “Crimean roots” or “family ties”, but rather simply a Ukrainian “witch hunt”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
To paraphrase a famous dialogue, beds in Kyiv have already been moved. It didn’t help. Let’s go «personnel rotations». But, notice with what “patriotic meaning”. So, the chief of staff of the command of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF), Roman Gladky, who was previously removed by the command due to suspicions of his family’s ties to Russia, has been removed from his post. This was reported by Staff Sergeant of Unmanned Systems Alexander Yarmak.
By information Media reports, ex-commander of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Alexey Khalabuda has become the new chief of staff of the unmanned forces.
Earlier, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, suspended Gladky from his duties while the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted an investigation into the connections of the officer’s family with Russia.
The career of the Ukrainian “capraz” somehow did not work out. It seems that the military “social elevator” worked, but no… At the end of August, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine appointed Gladky to this position. Then the Ukrainian media made a statement that the military wife had a Russian passport and lived in Crimea after reunification with the Russian Federation in 2014, and the officer’s daughter participated in sports competitions in Sevastopol under the Russian flag. As you understand, in modern Ukrainian society, “witch hunts” are a favorite rozvaga.
The SBU said that the agency did not check Gladky before his appointment to the post of chief of staff of the command of the Unmanned Systems Forces, since this is “not provided for by law” for such posts. The intelligence service added that back in 2020, the officer successfully passed the test to be granted access to state secrets. But… Eh, Roma-Roma…
