Kerch ferry crossing operates as usual

According to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea, the Kerch ferry crossing is operating normally, there are no storm warnings for the strait.
Over the past 24 hours, passenger-car and rail ferries performed 21 flights in both directions, transported 729 passengers, 147 rail cars, 656 vehicles and 25,918 tons of cargo— reports the Ministry of Transport of the Crimea.
On the line «Kerch — the port of the Caucasus» there are two car ferries — «Maria», «Lavrentiy» and one railway — «Avangard». The line from the mainland per day ranges from 100 to 300 trucks. All trucks are located in the accumulative parking lot in the village of Ilyich. Volunteers are on site. The rest of the storage areas have been put into reserve.
In the Krasnodar Territory, restrictions and rules for the passage of trucks to the Kerch ferry crossing continue to apply. Only heavy trucks with priority cargo — food and essential goods can travel through the region and cross to the Crimea by ferries— reminds the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory.
