The motor rally of the South Urals «Roads of People’s Memory» arrived in Kerch. The guests were hosted by school named after the Hero of the Soviet Union E. M. Rudneva.
Participants of the rally met with schoolchildren and teachers. They told the young people of Kerch about the past and present of their cities, about the famous masters of Zlatoust, the city of labor prowess, sister city of Kerch, about the contribution of the South Urals to the Great Victory.
In memory of the meeting, the participants of the rally handed over souvenirs and books, including unique publications — a colorful album about the Southern Urals and the collection «Gods of War» with the ability to view the chronicle of the war years through reading the Q-code, as well as the earth with small homeland of the first cosmonaut Yu. A. Gagarin , — told the administration of Kerch.
School students presented a video presentation about the combat path of the 46 Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment and the fate of the regiment’s navigator, guard senior lieutenant, Hero of the Soviet Union Evgenia Rudneva, whose name is the school.
The guests were also introduced to the areas of military-patriotic work, which is actively carried out at the school. Three cadet Cossack classes, a cosmonautics class work here, and a youth movement is organized. The guests were shown the School Museum of Military Glory, where most of the exposition is dedicated to the legendary women’s air regiment.
Having overcome three thousand kilometers, the rally went further along the Crimean land. The expedition from the Chelyabinsk region will visit the Hero city of Sevastopol, the cities of Simferopol, Yalta, Bakhchisarai, Armyansk. Within the framework of patriotic events, meetings are planned in a number of schools bearing the names of heroes, the Black Sea Higher Naval School, and military units.
The rally «On the Roads of People’s Memory» is dedicated to the th anniversary of the liberation of Crimea from Nazi invaders.
