Kerch incident: a woman who has worked as a postman for many years, robbed a pensioner

A message from the 38-year-old local resident about the loss of food and a small amount of money from the house of her elderly mother was received by the duty unit of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kerch.
The woman explained that chambers of video surveillance were installed in the house, and, after looking at the records, she found that an unfamiliar woman who stole the property entered the house. The applicant also noted that her mother was not able to inform exactly who committed theft. During the operational-search measures, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kerch established the identity of the attacker. She was previously not convicted by a 46-year-old local resident. The suspect pleaded guilty and told the police that she worked as a postman in this area for many years, so she knew that an elderly woman had been living in the house. Left without work, the attacker tore off the hinged castle and, not paying attention to the presence of the mistress of the house, stole food and money that lay on the table,-the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea said.
The investigator of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kerch on this fact opened a criminal case under part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft). The sanction of the article provides for the maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 6 years.
The attacker was chosen a preventive measure in the form of a non -departure subscription.
Police officers continue the investigation in order to establish additional facts and episodes.
