Employees of the State traffic inspectorate of Kerch who arrived at the scene of the accident felt a pungent smell of alcohol from the driver and invited him to undergo a medical examination procedure, which he refused.
DPS inspectors on the driver drawn up an administrative protocol under Part 1. Art. 12.26 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non -fulfillment by the driver of the vehicle requirements for a medical examination for intoxication). The sanction of the article provides for a punishment in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of forty -five thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of one and a half to two years. A definition was also issued on an administrative investigation under Art. 12.24 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of the road or the rules of operation of the vehicle, which resulted in causing light or moderate severity of harm to the health of the victim).
The driver was suspended from driving. The car is seized and placed on a specialized site.
