Kerch police stopped the sale of counterfeit alcohol products
CrimeaPRESS reports:
As part of the investigative activity “Test Purchase,” employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kerch stopped the trade in counterfeit alcohol-containing products in one of the city cafes.
Police officers established the involvement of the 64-year-old owner of this cafe in illegal activities. The woman organized an illegal business selling alcohol-containing products and personally coordinated the storage and transportation of alcohol, and her ward, a 40-year-old local resident who worked as a salesperson in this establishment, sold illegal alcohol to visitors— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
During a search in non-residential premises and the businesswoman’s home, police discovered and seized about 30 liters of alcohol-containing products, which, according to experts, posed a danger to human life and health.
The materials collected by the police officers were sent to the investigative authorities for making a procedural decision.
