The FSB officers detained the 22-year-old resident of Kerch, who collected information about the air defense facilities for military intelligence of Ukraine, on suspicion of Stateizer. This was reported in the Center for Public Relations (COOs) of the FSB of Russia.

It was established that a resident of Kerch born in 2003 established and maintained on a confidential basis the ratio of cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU). On the instructions of the curator, he arrived at the location of one of the military units and, using the means of photo and video documentation, recorded the location of the air defense funds, as well as other military facilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation deployed on the peninsula— said in the Central Department Store, adding that he handed the received information to the representative of the GUR MOU via Telegram.

The suspect pleaded guilty and gives confession, ”the FSB noted. In the video of the FSB, the detainee said that on January 30, 2024, on YouTube, he saw a video with the Russian prisoner of war, which was shot by the GUR MOU, where it was proposed to report the whereabouts of Russian military personnel and military facilities for money.

Then I was asked to provide a photo or video recording, confirmation that these objects are really located there— he said.

The Investigative Department of the FSB in the Republic of Crimea against the detainee opened a criminal case under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code (state treason), it is detained for two months. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

Operational and investigative actions are ongoing.

The FSB of Russia draws attention to the fact that the special services of Ukraine are increasingly using Telegram and WhatsApp messengers (belongs to the META corporation, which is recognized in the Russian Federation) to involve citizens in sabotage and intelligence activities— noted in the Central Bank.
