Kerchanin kept a rifle and cartridges — what the court decided
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The court established that in 2011-2012 a 49-year-old resident of Kerch purchased a rifle from unidentified persons, which, according to the expert’s conclusion, is a single-barreled, rifled, home-made firearm, suitable for firing a shot and 16 cartridges, which, according to the expert’s conclusion are commercially manufactured hunting rimfire cartridges intended for use in rifled firearms, suitable for firing shots.
The defendant deliberately, illegally, without a license and permission to store firearms and ammunition for it, for the purpose of personal use, transferred them to a non-residential building that is in his use, and began to illegally store them there until they were seized by police officers, — noted in the press service of the Kerch City Court of the Republic of Crimea.
The defendant was sentenced to three years in prison with a two-year probationary period. The verdict of the court has not entered into force.
