Kerchanin transmitted air defense data to Kyiv. The verdict has been passed

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced Kerch resident Vladislav Kislyakov to 13 years in prison for transmitting air defense data to Ukrainian intelligence. He was found guilty under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason), the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation reported.
It was established that in September 2023, Kislyakov collected and transmitted via messenger to a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine information about the locations of air defense systems of the Russian Armed Forces in Kerch— reported the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The court agreed with the position of the state prosecutor and sentenced Kislyakov to 13 years in prison in a maximum security colony with a restriction of freedom for 1.5 years.
In addition, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported that the Crimean prosecutor’s office sent a criminal case to the Supreme Court of the republic against 42-year-old Ukrainian citizen Yevgeny Melnichuk, accused of espionage.
According to the investigation, Melnichuk arrived from Kyiv to the Republic of Crimea, where from December 2021 to October 2022 he collected and transferred to an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine information about the locations and movements of personnel and equipment of the Russian Armed Forces in Sevastopol and on the territory of the Republic Crimea.
