Kerchanka Ekaterina Bondarenko became the bronze medalist of the Russian Sambo Championship among juniors under 24 years old. Competitions from January 17 to 21 are held in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region.

The student of Vladimir Krasova climbed to the podium in the weight category up to 50 kg. Sofia Emelyukova from Chuvashia won this weight. In total, more than 450 athletes (juniors and junior women) from most regions of the country take part in the competition. The winners in their categories will receive the right to compete as part of the Russian national team at the BRICS Games, which will be held in Kazan on June 12-16— reports «Crimean sport».
