KFU accepts the first participants of the youth and student tourism program
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The first participants of the youth and student tourism program arrived at the Crimean Federal University — students of the Russian State University for the Humanities.
I had never been to the Crimea before, and I had a dream — to see the Swallow’s Nest. Glad you were able to make it happen! In general, the impressions are excellent. The most memorable trip on a yacht in Yalta— the press service of the university quotes a second-year student of the Russian State Humanitarian University Daria Tsesarskaya.
Girls study in the specialty «International Relations» of the Russian-Turkish profile. It was the first time they took part in the Student Tourism program.
We spent five days in Crimea. We even wanted to travel not by the sea, but to travel. During this time, we visited Alushta, Yalta, Sevastopol and its famous Monument to the Scuttled Ships, walked along the historical route «Little Jerusalem» in Evpatoria, saw the Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the Juma-Jami mosque— says a third-year student of the RRSU Daria Miskevich.
To accommodate guests, KFU offers two dormitory campuses: Tauride and Medical. From one to three people live in a room at a cost of 18 to 22 rubles per day.
To date, the university has already received about 25 applications, mostly for August. The guys come on a trip on an independent program, but we are also expecting a delegation from Tuva State University. For group visits, the Crimean Federal University is developing a special cultural and educational program, within which we will show the guests the Taurida Cave complex, the KFU Botanical Garden and other attractions. Crimea is a unique region that combines a rich history and cultural heritage, so it is very interesting to look at the historical and modern parts of the peninsula. And in addition to relax by the sea, enjoy the clean sea air— notes the chief specialist of the department for social and educational work Polina Bolbochan.
The youth and student tourism program from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has been implemented since 2021. As part of it, students can travel around Russia, staying in hostels and campuses of universities participating in the project.
