The new academic year started at the Crimean Federal University, in honor of which the large-scale Festival of Science, Knowledge and Creativity #CFUFEST was held at the university. In total, more than 4500 people have already become students of the leading university of the peninsula this year.

Several exhibition zones worked at the festival, where everyone could get acquainted with the achievements of the university in the field of education, science, sports and creativity, as well as the university communities. The expozone presented the leading developments of the university, which are being implemented as part of the strategic leadership program «Priority 534». University specialists presented projects in the field of agriculture, medicine, sanatorium rehabilitation, artificial intelligence and social sciences. Among them are environmentally friendly food products of our own production, robot-assisted surgery, unmanned vehicles for agriculture, mobile services for agriculture and the sphere of sanatorium-resort rehabilitation, and others.
Since childhood, I liked mathematics, computer science, physics, and I realized that this direction suits me. I began to consider universities, choosing from the best. And the best university in Crimea is KFU, so I chose it and entered here , — said Rodion Tretyakov, a first-year student of the program engineering direction.
At the exhibition site of the university, the guests of the festival were able to get acquainted with the structural divisions and branches of the university, public organizations, learn about the work of the Student Office, the Situation Center and the HR agency of the university.
The academic year at the Crimean Federal University started September. Education will be held in a mixed format: lectures — online, practical and laboratory — offline.
