KFU expert knows what weather awaits Crimea in autumn
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The velvet season in Crimea starts from early September and will last until October.
We are waiting for a rather long velvet season, which, from the point of view of the tourist flow, will begin from the first days of September. Weather conditions will be most favorable from the middle of the month.— quotes the press service of the Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism of the Crimean Federal University Igor Vakhrushev.
According to him, autumn this year is expected to be dry and warm.
By the nature of temperature dynamics, September and early October will be warm in Crimea. It is difficult to make long-term forecasts, however, based on long-term data and taking into account current global warming trends, a fairly stable anticyclone and good weather usually set in September. Sea water will also remain warm during the first month of autumn.— Igor Vakhrushev notes.
As the specialist notes, the duration of the velvet season and the flow of tourists depends more on precipitation than on temperature. In Crimea, the rains will shift towards the end of September, but significant precipitation is not expected.
