KFU has developed a concept for the development of undeveloped territories of Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Specialists of the Crimean Federal University conducted a study of the undeveloped territories of the Crimean peninsula and developed a concept for their development. The project affected primarily the coastal zone of the region.

Our project is dedicated to the study of the undeveloped territories of Crimea and how to effectively use these land plots. It is known that the area of the peninsula is 27,000 km², of which 4,000 km² are built up as cities. The problem of the development of territories located on inconvenience is especially acute for the republic. Land is the most valuable resource we have. And we will observe a trend where areas that are located on difficult terrain will be built up more and more. Our task is to contribute to their effective and rational development, so that the peninsula is promising, attractive for tourists and competitive., — the press service of the university quotes the director of the Institute «Academy of Construction and Architecture» KFU. V. I. Vernadsky Natalia Tsopa.

Scientists have developed a concept for the use of undeveloped territories on the example of the Black Sea, Feodosia, Alushta and Evpatoria. As part of the project, they carried out not only urban planning, but also an analysis of building materials and structures from which it is necessary to build buildings and structures in these areas for their effective use in the future.

An important element is the effective technology of construction organization. We analyzed how buildings should be implemented, taking into account the seismic hazard of territories in other regions, in particular, using the example of Sochi, and made suggestions on how it should be in Crimea. We received a patent for this scientific development based on the use of pipe concrete supports.— says Natalia Topa.
