CrimeaPRESS reports:
An open lecture was held at the Crimean Federal University as part of the “Knowledge. Heroes» of the Russian Society «Knowledge». University students met with a participant in a special military operation, the deputy head of the branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland foundation.
The main goal of the foundation is the socialization of demobilized soldiers. I am a supporter of the fact that for this we must first prepare society. In addition, today one of the main objectives of the meeting is to win in the information space. Our task is to show young people what soldiers and their families go through so that war does not come to our home— shared the deputy head of the branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, a participant in the special military operation, Dmitry Voronin.
The event was attended by first-year students in the areas of training “Jurisprudence” and “History”. They learned about the goals and reasons for the SVO, as well as the military’s combat experience.
The action is aimed at patriotic education of youth, so that children learn reliable facts about a special military operation. We carry out a lot of systematic work with the foundation, so meetings of this kind are constantly organized at the university sites, — said the vice-rector for educational and methodological activities of KFU. V. I. Vernadsky Natalya Karmazina.
All-Russian military-patriotic educational campaign “Knowledge. Heroes» is aimed at increasing the knowledge of students of general education institutions about the exploits of heroes and achievements of the country, the history of Russia and their native land.
