KFU is in the pilot ranking of universities in the BRICS countries

Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky entered the pilot ranking of universities in the BRICS countries and took 247th place. Among Russian universities, the leading university on the peninsula occupies 51st position.
This year, for the first time, within the framework of a pilot project, the ranking of universities in the BRICS countries was compiled. An agreement to organize this rating was reached in 2023. Crimean Federal University, naturally, is also a participant in the ranking. And according to published data, we are in 247th place among 600 universities in the BRICS countries, and among universities in the Russian Federation, and 161 domestic universities are represented in this ranking, we are in 51st place. The achievements of universities in the field of science, education and relations between the university and society were assessed. I am not yet ready to assess whether these positions are good or not, but we will take them as starting points and will continue to see how the university’s positions will change, – quotes the press service and. The BRICS universities ranking includes 600 universities representing the consortium countries: Brazil, Egypt, India, Iran, China, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and South Africa.
