I rate the defense positively. I believe that we brought our position to the attention of the Council members, which we then defended when answering questions. I believe that the answers to the questions reinforced the points expressed in the report and showed that we have formed a team capable of solving the problems facing the university. Special thanks to our industrial partner Daria Aleksandrovna Thor, who clearly showed that the interaction between the university and the real sector of the economy has reached a new level and has serious prospects for further development, — quotes the press service of the university and. O. Rector of KFU named after. V.I. Vernadsky Vladimir Kuryanov.
According to him, the university continues to follow the path of achieving its strategic goal.
New scientific, educational and innovation-production divisions are being created, focused on creating technologies in demand in the region. Our individual services and products, created as part of the implementation of the Priority 2030 program in 2023, have already found application in the real sector of the economy, other developments have been transferred under licensing agreements to the university’s partners. And today the university is perceived in Crimea not only as a structure that trains highly qualified personnel, but also as a real player in the market. It is equally important that participation in the Priority 2030 program became the basis for the formation of project teams and building internal processes for promoting products, – notes Vladimir Kuryanov.
Among the results presented are the opening of a grafting complex for the production of grape planting material, the development of an automated line for grafting grape cuttings, and mobile applications for farmers; implementation of projects in the field of robot-assisted surgery, rehabilitation, sanatorium-resort treatment and scientific and methodological support for athletes, molecular diagnostics for targeted therapy of oncological diseases and others.
Let us remind you that the Crimean Federal University is the recipient of a special part of the grant under the strategic academic leadership program “Priority 2030” in the track “Territorial and/or industry leadership”.
