KFU received a grant for the implementation of an educational project on the territory of Ancient Chersonesos

Crimean Federal University. V.I. Vernadsky became the winner of the competition of the Presidential Fund of Cultural Initiatives. The support received a unique educational project aimed at immersing the youth of Crimea and Sevastopol in the history and spiritual heritage of Russia.
As part of the project, the university team will hold 16 immersive quest-excursions on the territory of ancient Chersonesos.
The project “Eternal Life of the Dead City: Opening the Heart of Chersonesus” is not just excursions, but a living dialogue with the past, which will help participants realize their role in preserving the traditions and values of Russia,-quotes the press service of the university of the Vice-Rector on educational and methodological activities of the KFU named after V.I. Vernadsky Natalya Karmazin.
According to her, the project combines educational and cultural components, as well as modern interaction formats. Participants will learn about the origins of Russian statehood and feel the connection with the past through emotional immersion in the era.
In addition to 16 immersive quest-excursions with complete immersion in a historical context, we will meet with the cities of Crimea to popularize the ideas of the project. In addition, we plan to create a checklist, following which youth will have the opportunity to hold such events themselves. And, of course, we will have a community of people enthusiastic history— notes Natalya Karmazina.
In total, within the framework of the competition, the Presidential Fund of Cultural Initiatives supported 810 projects from 86 regions of the country.
