KFU specialists together with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation presented the School of Education «SVOi»

On the basis of the republican branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, together with the Crimean Federal University, the School of Education “SVOi” was opened. Here, veterans and participants in a special military operation will be trained in the skill of speaking to audiences, after which they will be able to give lectures at schools and universities on patriotic education and SVO.

We have a big request for an educational agenda, and many events are held under the auspices of the Russian Society “Knowledge”: class hours, “Talks about important things” and others. The topic of special military operations is very necessary and important. We have already organized meetings between SVO participants and children. Now, on the initiative of the foundation, we have organized such a school, because it is important for us that our ranks of lecturers and educators be replenished. Public speaking has certain rules and nuances, which my colleagues and I will talk about at school.– the press service of the university quotes the vice-rector for educational and methodological activities of KFU Natalya Karmazina.

The training will last for a month. During this time, 30 students will receive eight lectures and practical classes from experienced teachers of pedagogy and psychology at the Crimean Federal University. During the period of study at the School of Education «SVOi» participants will be told about methods of working with youth, the pedagogical principles of constructing and conducting lectures, modern principles of educational work, organizing events and exhibitions, the use of interactive and visual techniques and other aspects of public speaking. At the end of the training, participants will receive a certificate, which gives them the opportunity to perform in schools and universities.

Having mastered the program from the teachers of the Crimean Federal University and having the appropriate certificate from the foundation and KFU, our students will be able to freely hold meetings with schoolchildren and students, conduct lectures and “Lessons of Courage”, talk about the goals and objectives of the special military operation, and what is happening today in the country and on the battlefields. It is very important that the participants of this school themselves took the initiative and strive to gain knowledge in order to use it and engage in such an important task today — educating young people,” emphasizes the head of the branch of the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland” in the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Tregub.

The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation was created on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The main goal of the fund is personal social support for veterans of the Northern Military District, families of soldiers killed and those who died from wounds. The Fund provides assistance in obtaining all required support measures, including medical and social rehabilitation, drug provision, psychological assistance, technical means of rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort treatment, as well as in the retraining and employment of veterans.
