KFU student Ekaterina Alexa won a grant for a project to attract young people to volunteer and help the front
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A third-year student at the Institute of Economics and Management of the Crimean Federal University, volunteer and activist of the Youth wing of the Popular Front, Ekaterina Alexa, won a grant in the amount of 320 thousand rubles for the implementation of the project “Ambassadors “Everything for Victory””. The competition was held at the all-Russian educational forum “South Young”.
The project will be implemented with the support of Rosmolodezh.Grants. It is aimed at informing students of educational institutions of the Republic of Crimea about the activities of the “Everything for Victory” foundation, the “People’s Front” movement and the “Cyber Squad” online project. The objectives of the project are to attract young people to the activities of these organizations, assemble a team of volunteers from various educational institutions in the region who will become ambassadors of the “Everything for Victory” foundation, and open new collection points for humanitarian aid to the front.
According to the authors of the project, more than 80% of students do not know how they can help the front today, but at the same time they have a desire to take part and make a contribution. The main goal of the project is to raise awareness among young people in the field of volunteering and assistance to participants in a special military operation.
I decided to participate in the grant competition because the coordinator of the Youth wing of the Popular Front in Crimea, Alexander Kardanov, as well as one of the participants in our organization recently won grants for the implementation of projects, and I realized that I also want to promote our organization and develop youth initiatives . This victory means to me that I will be able to contribute to the social and patriotic development of our youth. In my opinion, this is very important today. I am very glad that this happened and I really want to start preparing for the project as soon as possible— said Ekaterina Alexa.
The result of the grant project will be a general event at which the results of the team’s work will be summed up, and the most productive ambassadors will be awarded valuable prizes.
The All-Russian Educational Forum “Young South” was held in the Zaporozhye region for the third time. Here, more than 500 participants from 83 regions of the country gather annually to develop their skills and learn how to implement projects.
