KFU students won five million rubles for startups
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Students of the Crimean Federal University took part in the All-Russian competition «Student Startup». Five students of the university won one million rubles each for the implementation of business ideas in the field of digital technologies, medicine and health-saving technologies. Anatoly Zorya, a freshman from the Physical-Technical Institute of KFU, has developed an innovative CRM system (Customer relationship management system). It will automate the work processes of sellers on online marketplaces.
Of course, there are analogues, but they are mainly analytical services. Our task is to get closer to greater autonomy and automation of all routine processes for entrepreneurs. We want to build a system so that the only task of the user is to produce a product and calculate the profit. We plan to achieve the goal thanks to the feedback of our beta testers and interested users who actively give feedback to our project— the press service of the university Anatoly Zor quotes.
Another of the projects is a new digital resource for the sale and rental of real estate in the Crimea — Chernomor-Nedvizhimost.
Today, there is a practice when several agencies and even the owner himself can advertise the same object. Consequently, the user does not understand who exactly sells the object and has reliable information about it, with whom to conduct a dialogue. In addition, such uncontrolled placement of real estate on popular sites «inflates» the market and leads to a chaotic rise in prices. We want to solve this problem as far as possible. We will have additional legal checks of objects, a request to confirm the uniqueness of the object before placement. For the victory in the competition, I want to separately thank the teacher Amina Zharova — thanks to her I learned about the grant and was able to correctly fill out the application and complete the project— says Oleg Kravtsov, master student of the Institute of Economics and Management of KFU.
According to him, the service will also differ in its locality: the resource is mainly focused on the Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Interaction with specialized partners, ministries of the region is planned.
Ekaterina Borkina, a third-year student of the Physical-Technical Institute of KFU, also developed a digital application. It is aimed at finding and organizing events.
When registering, the user can select his interests and preferences, and the system will select the appropriate events created by other users or organizations. Organizers will be able to create events, define their parameters, quickly and easily edit their events and control statistics. A feature of the application will be an interactive map on which events will be displayed in real time. Our team was confident in the project, and the victory is another sign for us that we are moving in the right direction!says the student.
Philology student Taisiya Protsenko also expressed her ideas in the field of digital technologies. The girl developed a game to teach programming to people of different ages.
Going through various game situations, you can easily memorize the material. Unlike foreign analogues, our product will work on the territory of the Russian Federation and fully function in Russian. In addition, almost all similar applications for teaching programming are not designed for children, unlike ours. The team and I have already begun work on the project, and after receiving the grant, we plan to fully implement it. The application will go through several stages of development and testing, as we want to create a quality product, which we will later promote to the masses with the help of advertising, — notes a first-year student of the Institute of Philology of KFU Taisiya Protsenko.
These projects are presented in the Digital Technologies category. And Valery Yablunovsky took part in the direction «Medicine and Health Protection Technologies». A sixth-year student of the Medical Academy of KFU came up with a program for automatic interpretation of laboratory tests.
The user takes a photo or uploads the results of laboratory tests from the device (selecting a photo from the gallery, importing a file, or entering data manually). The program interprets the results, gives recommendations for verification and differential diagnosis, monitors the dynamics, notifies you of the need to retake testsemphasizes the medical student.
According to him, most of the grant will be used to write the software part of the application, rent servers and register a trademark. The application will have two versions: a medical version for implementation in the medical decision support system, and a user version for patients’ mobile devices.
Students took part in the third wave of the competition. They were among 1235 winners who will receive a million rubles for the startup. The laureates represented 68 regions of Russia from 236 technical and humanitarian universities.
The «Student Startup» competition is held within the framework of the federal project «University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform» with the support of the Innovation Promotion Fund.
