KFU will conduct a thematic shift for schoolchildren at the Artek MDC

Crimean Federal University. V. I. Vernadsky became the winner of the competition of additional general developmental programs implemented by the Artek International Children’s Center together with thematic partners.
The leading university of the peninsula will hold a shift at the Artek site under the Young Botanik program, which is aimed at the versatile development of students in the field of ecology, botany, selection and environmental protection.
The format of joint training and relaxation will form not only deep knowledge on the declared subject, but also instill a love of nature, promote professional orientation and educate a sense of patriotism. During the implementation of the Young Botanik program, schoolchildren will get acquainted with the biological variety of plants and their economic significance; will form practical skills in growing plant culture; will master the basics and elements of floristry and landscape design (design); get acquainted with the rules and features of herbaric affairs and its practical significance; They will master the ability to vaccinate plants in practice, as well as study the basic rules and requirements of vaccination.
The thematic shift at the Artek International Children’s Center will be held in September 2025, and in March-April a similar program will be implemented in the All-Russian Children’s Center «Scarlet Sails» in Yevpatoria.
