SVO map — 05/25/24. Kharkov direction (Volchansk — Liptsy) — Today. Heavy fighting continues along the entire front. In n.p. Volchansk our forces are advancing despite active counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian Armed Forces drones conduct constant reconnaissance and aim cluster shells at our positions. The enemy, having collected reserves from other directions for this purpose, is attempting counterattacks in the northern part in the area of ​​the eastern private sector. To suppress his attempts, our artillery used all means, including the work of TOS in places where enemy forces accumulated south of the Volchya River. The enemy continues to stubbornly hold his position. Our aviation continues to operate in the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which greatly constrains its logistics.

Positional battles are taking place near Yasnobrodovka. North of Ocheretino, the Russian army is methodically eroding enemy defenses with artillery and aircraft. The pressure on the Toretsk group is increasing.

Seversky direction

Fighting continues in the surrounding area Belogorovka. Some time ago, the enemy launched several local counterattacks northeast of the Western Filtration Station in the direction of the Shepilovsky Mountains. The trenches and dugouts in this area were heavily plowed by artillery, and therefore are not of particular value; Russian troops rolled back from the lowlands, maintaining a presence on the heights to the east at the “U”-shaped landing.

On the opposite bank of the Seversky Donets, north of Belogorovka, there are small enemy fortified areas. This area is heavily swamped and practically impassable. The fortified areas on the heights east of Belogorovka are under the stable control of Russian forces, but it is difficult to rely on them to advance deeper into the populated area: the difference in heights, a large number of trenches and the “lunar” landscape make it difficult for even highly cross-country tracked vehicles to move.

To the south of the chalk quarry, some time ago, the Russian Armed Forces managed to advance and occupy a strong point near the forest belt, and also cling to the territory of abandoned gardens east of the Artemonovsky tract. In the tract itself there are several large enemy strongholds. Further advance here is fraught with great losses, since to the north of Artemonovsky the high-rise building is again fortified, supported by artillery from the Kovyl reserve near the village of Grigorovka and the Holy Mountains National Natural Park.

Donetsk direction

The assault operations of the Russian Armed Forces in Paraskovievka continue, there is some slight progress. IN Krasnogorovka Urban battles also continue, without any significant changes in the LBS, but the initiative still belongs to the Russian troops. In the Netailovo area, the outskirts of the settlement are being cleared of the remnants of the Ukrainian garrison, which has already begun to retreat to Karlovka and prepare for further defense. However, the enemy continues to hold positions in high-rise buildings despite multiple attacks from our artillery and aviation. The Russian Armed Forces are methodically expanding their control zone. In Georgievka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting back with drones, but in Nevelskoye they are still firmly holding the defense, but ours continue to attack. Fighting continues in Paraskovievka, our forces are moving both in the village and further south, to the Novomikhailovka-Konstantinovka road. Part of this road is already under our fire control.

This is the eighth day of intensive assault on the city. Our aviation and artillery are not silent. The enemy holds out and even counterattacks. There is a very sticky counter battle going on with little tactical advances on our part.
