Khersones is the leader of the study “Museums in the public information space — 2023”

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Chersonese Tauride regularly increases its information presence, and the past year was no exception. According to the results of the study “Museums in the Public Information Space — 2023”, conducted as part of the “Social Navigator” project of the international media group “Russia Today”, the museum-reserve entered the top 5 federal cultural institutions by the number of mentions in domestic electronic media. The results of the monitoring were discussed at the press conference “Russian museums in the public information space. Effectiveness of communication strategies.»

In 2023, the model group included 69 federal museums that are national treasures. The focus was on the audience of the websites of cultural institutions and the total number of their mentions in the news — the digital footprint. The main objectives of the monitoring were: supporting the work of museums to increase recognition in the public Russian-language information space; motivation to develop tools for attracting audience attention to the unique cultural values of museums, as well as to the content created on this basis,” noted project manager Natalya Tyurina.

Tauride Chersonese showed high results in terms of the number of mentions in electronic media news reports and became the only museum in Crimea and Sevastopol that received a certificate of quality as the leader of the study.

A modern museum today is not only about getting to know the exhibitions. We strive to be open to all social and age groups. In Tauride Chersonesos, various cultural events are held throughout the year. Among them are family holidays, spiritual and educational programs, performances, and concerts. We actively work with young people; schoolchildren come to us almost every day. The museum-reserve annually hosts scientific conferences where research results can be shared and discoveries discussed. In short, we have a rich news agenda— said the head of the public relations department Natalya Korobitsina.

Every year the museum-reserve increases its presence in the information space and strives to be accessible and interesting for both real and virtual visitors. He creates news and educational content in a variety of formats to remain relevant and appeal to audiences of all ages. Regional and federal media regularly show interest in events, exhibitions and promotions of the museum-reserve, telling people about them. We thank all media representatives for their fruitful cooperation and love for Tauride Chersonese, which helps it occupy an increasingly prominent place in the Russian information space!
