Kindergarten in the area of 5 km Balaklava highway intend to complete ahead of schedule

Today, there is no queue for kindergartens for children aged 3 to 7 in Sevastopol. In the Leninsky district there is an actual queue from 1.5 to 3 years — this is about 250 people. The design capacity of this preschool institution places. Ten modern groups will be equipped, which will significantly reduce the existing need. The Vice Governor stressed that the kindergarten building and its territory will be equipped for access and unhindered movement of people with limited mobility. Each group is equipped with a locker room, a playroom, a bedroom, a buffet, a toilet. Also, additional premises will be arranged in the garden — sports and music halls, teachers’ offices.
According to Igor Akhmedov, First Deputy Director of the Capital Construction Department, the construction readiness of the facility is 80%, the work is ahead of schedule. It is planned to hand over the kindergarten ahead of schedule — in October. The deadline for completion of works under the contract is December 2022 of the year.
Within two weeks, we are going to finish the finishing of the premises of the building. Gradually, we begin to improve the surrounding area. There are playgrounds with shady canopies, sports grounds, a canopy for wheelchairs. The playgrounds will be equipped with playground equipment and small architectural forms. In addition, together with the Department of Transport, we worked out the issue of asphalting the road leading to two new educational facilities , — says the official.
The work is carried out by the construction company «Carbon». The price of the contract is 200 million rubles.
Recall that four more preschool institutions are currently being built in Sevastopol: on the streets of Heroes of Brest and Gorpischenko, in Kazachya Bay and in the village of Kacha. Only five kindergartens will be able to take about 1 500 children. Four more kindergartens are at the design stage — on Rudnev and Vakulenchuk streets, in the village of Orlovka and in the Zolotoy Balka area, their total capacity is 600 places.
