Knowledge.Lectorium completed its work at the Tavrida.ART festival

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Looking to the future, young people who care about living, working and creating in Russia, who are interested in new knowledge and their native culture, who act consciously, decisively and in a team – such an image of modern Russian youth was described by the participants of the track Znanie.Lektory in Crimea. The educational event of the Russian society «Knowledge» was held from August 17 to 20 as part of the fifth anniversary festival of young art «Tavrida.ART». The open-air studio hosted 30 lectures, interviews, and panel discussions on Russian culture and the role of youth in its development.

The performances were seen by guests and participants of the Festival, as well as more than 9 million viewers of the online broadcast. One of the most anticipated guests of the Znanie.Lektoriya track at the Festival of Young Art was Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. The statesman spoke about youth, about important life values, as well as about Russian creative projects in which young people can realize their potential.

Each of the Russian creative projects has a huge number of participants. The number of talented people in our country is incredible— Sergey Kiriyenko noted. — And this is very pleasing, because today’s young generation has the main value — self-realization, in second place — to create a happy family. And the fact that the main value is to find and realize yourself is very cool. Therefore, it is no coincidence that a number of state projects are aimed at this. Moreover, they are built on the fact that adults do not impose, but rather open up the whole space of possibilities, and the young person has the opportunity to choose for himself.

Sergei Kiriyenko drew the attention of the audience to the fact that the number of creative projects is constantly growing. So, on August 22 of this year, the acceptance of applications for participation in the new educational project of the Russian society «Knowledge» — Art-Laboratory Znanie.Avtory starts. Within the framework of this project, there will be a competition for the best creative works dedicated to Russia, the work of the Art Laboratory and a large-scale gala concert at the International Exhibition and Forum «Russia» at VDNKh.

Sergei Pershin, head of the Tavrida art cluster, program director of the World Youth Festival, spoke at the studio of the Russian Society «Knowledge». He spoke about the role of the younger generation in the development of Russian culture.

We must form our own cultural context, we must stop being ashamed of ourselves. A rich cultural past and cool young guys in the present — in synergy, we can look forward to a great future. Is it easy to solve this problem — no, not easy. Step by step, and in the end everything will work out. I believe in it— Sergey Pershin emphasized.

The speaker also spoke about the goals of the upcoming World Youth Festival.

We want the Russian audience to be proud of what exists only in Russia, for all the opportunities that exist today, for the fact that in difficult times the state is very attentive to young people, since the younger generation is our tomorrow. And older people, having seen a young audience, would be proud of it, they would see that our guys can definitely be trusted, you can rely on them. I am confident that we will achieve these goals— said the program director of the youth festival.

Under the warm Crimean sky, they also talked about the development of international children’s centers. A meaningful interview about this was given by the director of the Artek International Children’s Center Konstantin Fedorenko. “Since 2014, a lot of work has been done on the territory of the Land of Childhood. During this time, within the framework of state programs, repairs and reconstruction of 9 camps of the International Children’s Center took place. And today, in the summer, 3,300 girls and boys have a rest in Artek at the same time, in the winter — 2,200 Artek residents. During the year — more than 42 thousand children. Today, the infrastructure allows us to receive such a large number of children, to conduct a continuous educational and educational process.

In addition to organizing places of residence, educational infrastructure, we have created a comprehensive security system, this issue has always been given special attention in Artek— said Konstantin Fedorenko.

An important theme of the festival was the history and culture of Russia, including the Crimea and Sevastopol. Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture, Senator of the Russian Federation Ekaterina Altabaeva spoke about the hero city of Sevastopol, which she represents in the Federation Council. The listeners learned how the city lived in antiquity, how it fought against the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War. It was also about how the people of Sevastopol fought for the right to speak Russian and preserve their history while the city was part of Ukraine for 23 years, how the residents warmly supported the referendum on the return of Sevastopol and Crimea to Russia in 2014. Every day, the studio hosted panel discussions about the national diversity of Russia, about patriotism, self-awareness, identification, and the education of young people. The discussions were moderated by Andrey Polosin, Vice-Rector of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, scientific director of the DNA of Russia project. In one of his speeches, he spoke about the five elements of the worldview system — a person, family, society, state and country, which form a model that allows structuring the basic value concepts of Russian civilization.

Modern Russian youth, its goals, aspirations, beliefs, role in modern society is also one of the key themes of the track. The participants in the conversations agreed that young people today are distinguished by their desire for new knowledge and skills, the desire to be useful to their country, responsible and thoughtful decision-making. The important mission of youth forums and festivals, such as Tavrida.ART, was also noted by the Russian journalist, war correspondent, writer, blogger, founder of the WarGonzo project Semyon Pegov. The speeches of mentors about professional, creative self-realization aroused great interest among the public. Experienced experts — scientists, war correspondents, architects, designers, gallery owners, computer game developers, bloggers, athletes — shared the secrets of mastery and

practical recommendations, discussed the prospects for career and personal development, each in their own field. In the studio of the Knowledge Society, they also talked about the wide opportunities that today are provided by such platforms and resources as “Russia is a country of opportunities”, Rosmolodezh.Dobro, “Another thing”. The speakers presented the Young South Forum, of which the Society is a partner, a new point of attraction for young Russians on the shores of the Sea of Azov, primarily for residents of new regions of the country.
