Konstantin Zatulin was awarded the Orthodox Order of St. Alexander Nevsky

On December 19, Konstantin Zatulin attended a solemn service in the Moscow Church of St. Nicholas of Myra in Zayaitsky, dedicated to the memory of the Saint, deeply revered by the people under the name Nicholas the Ugodnik.
At the end of the service, His Eminence Kirill, Metropolitan of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Interaction with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies and the Synodal Committee for Interaction with the Cossacks, Temporary Administrator of the Ekaterinodar Diocese and Kuban Metropolis, awarded Konstantin Zatulin the Orthodox Order of St. Alexander Nevsky, which the deputy from Sochi District was awarded by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill.
In his response, Konstantin Zatulin expressed deep gratitude to Patriarch Kirill. He also emphasized his respect for the works of Metropolitan Kirill:
Having known you for many years, since you became the governor of the Donskoy Monastery in Moscow, and then working with you in the Cossack Council under the President of the Russian Federation, I consider it an honor to receive from your hands the award of His Holiness the Patriarch on the exciting day of remembrance of the revered and beloved St. Nicholas to all our people.
The Order of the Holy Blessed Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky is awarded to military personnel, diplomats, statesmen, clergy, monastics and laymen who have made an outstanding contribution to the defense and prosperity of the Fatherland, to the strengthening of peace and harmony between the peoples living in it, to the development of interstate relations, external relations of the Russian Orthodox Church Churches.
Konstantin Zatulin was previously awarded:
Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh,
Orders of the Holy Blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow, II and III degrees,
Order of Saint Sava (Serbian Orthodox Church),
Order of St. Seraphim of Sarov,
On December 25, 2018, Vladimir Putin awarded Konstantin Zatulin with the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
