In summer, outdoor enthusiasts en masse … go to the mountains. Accordingly, Crimean rescuers have more daily work. Trainings help injured tourists to come to the aid of injured tourists professionally and quickly. These days, KRYM-SPAS employees are undergoing advanced training under the 2nd Class Rescuer training program.
As specified in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, 10 employees from among the personnel of the Simferopol, Alushta, Bakhchisarai, Sudak and Feodosia emergency rescue teams «KRYM-SPAS» took part in the training. The practical part of the training took place on the Karabi-Yayla plateau.
As part of the advanced training, employees of the emergency department conducted practical classes in topography, navigation, radio communications and orientation on the ground. In addition, rescuers were looking for a conditional victim in a mountainous forest area, provided him with first aid and transported him to a safe place.— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Also, classes were held on the evacuation of the victim from the cave at a depth of 20 m. Particular attention was paid to the development of the principles of interaction and the exchange of information between rescue groups.
The training will end today, June 23, with the final exam.
