“KrymDok”: VII Crimean Open Documentary Film Festival is closed

The closing ceremony of the VII Crimean Documentary Film Festival “KrymDok” took place on May 16 at the Crimean Tatar Academic Music and Drama Theater.
The Arts and Sports Center “Art Vision” and the Charitable Foundation for Social and Creative Initiatives “Living Water” made a creative gift to the festival, which became the prologue to the beginning of the closing ceremony of the Festival.
The closing ceremony of the film festival was attended by actress, film director, screenwriter, Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Artist of Russia Natalya Bondarchuk, screenwriter, prose writer, editor Alexander Barbukh, director of the limited liability company «World of Cinema» Olga Novikova, director of the Crimean Film Media Center Svetlana Kosarich and other cultural figures.
Experienced and novice directors submitted 45 works to the competition this year.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board Elena Aksenova presented a Special Diploma of the Interregional Public Organization “Russian Unity” and a festival diploma for her contribution to the popularization of family values, preservation and strengthening of spiritual and moral traditions to the film “Fathers. About the main thing,” directed by Mark Larionov.
Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea, Deputy Minister of Culture and Head of the Festival Organizing Committee Andrei Tereshchenko presented diplomas from the Founder of the Festival — the Ministry of Culture of the Republic to films about music: “Russia of Sergei Rachmaninov”, directed by Elena Gladkova, “Choirmaster”, directed by Galina Adamovich (Republic of Belarus), “ We see music”, directed by Arsen Arakelyan (Republic of Armenia).
From the republican independent socio-political newspaper “Krymskaya Pravda” the awards were presented by its cultural observer Lyudmila Obukhovskaya.
Member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, member of the Guild of Non-Fiction Cinema and Television of Russia Igor Khrekin presented special diplomas from the festival partner, the Creative Union of Television Workers and Veterans.
“For revealing the image of the music of the Russian soul” A special diploma from the Guild of Film Scholars and Film Critics of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia was presented by members of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia Elena Kutsenko, Lyudmila Obukhovskaya and
Svetlana Starostina to the film “Russian People”, directed by Pavel Fattakhutdinov and Svetlana Bobrova.
The Grand Prix of the Festival was won by the film “Voenkory-3. He prays in the language of God,” directed by Klim Poplavsky.
As part of the event, creative numbers on the stage of the Crimean Tatar State Academic Musical and Drama Theater were performed by laureates of all-Russian and international competitions Idris Shpot and Irina Strukova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Asan Belyalov, Honored Artist of Ukraine and Crimea Seytabla Memetov, students of the Crimean University of Culture, Arts and Tourism.
The festival closed with the film “We See Music” directed by Arsen Arakelyan, which was presented by program director, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia Elena Kutsenko.
The names of the winners will be published on the organizer’s website — Crimean Film Media Center and official website festival.
