Krymmedstrakh’s insurance representatives started informing citizens who applied to medical organizations of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol for planned primary health care, but did not join them.
The Federal Law “On the Fundamentals of Protecting the Health of Citizens in the Russian Federation” gives citizens the right to choose a medical organization for receiving primary health care under the Program of State Guarantees for Free Provision of Medical Care to Citizens.
Primary health care includes activities for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment of diseases and conditions, medical rehabilitation, monitoring the course of pregnancy, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and sanitary and hygienic education of the population. It is provided on an outpatient basis, including at the patient’s place of residence.
To receive it under the compulsory medical insurance program, each insured person has the right once a year to choose a medical organization (polyclinic) from among those that operate in the field of compulsory medical insurance. If you change your place of residence, you can choose a polyclinic more often.
To exercise your right, you must submit a written application to the selected medical organization. You should have an identity document and an OMS policy with you. It should be noted that there is no need to “detach” from the former clinic: medical organizations independently exchange the necessary documents.
In a newly selected polyclinic, a citizen must be familiarized with the list of medical workers and information about the territories of their service (medical sites) when they provide medical care at home.

Therefore, if you received a notification from Krymmedstrakh insurance representatives about the need to attach to a medical organization, then please contact the selected clinic and, in order to prevent problems in receiving medical care in the future, go through the procedure of attaching to it.
