Kursk region. The situation on 05.10.24. SVO map. Over the past 24 hours, the Kursk direction has continued to remain one of the key zones of active combat operations. Russian troops conduct operations to hold strategic positions and repel enemy attacks, using artillery, tanks and aircraft. Major events occurred in the areas Glushkovsky, Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districtswhere Russian units continue to actively deter attempts by Ukrainian forces to break through the state border.

Russian aviation is carrying out strikes on identified areas of concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel in Russky Porechny, Bogdanovka and Kolmakovo. At the Borki-Plekhovo line, heavy clashes continue on the approaches to the latter.
