Kursk region today. The situation on 04/25/25, the map and summary of the SV. Today we are talking about the Kursk direction where the Armed Forces of Russia continue active offensive operations, developing success after the liberation of the village of Oleshny. The statement about this was officially made on the nineteenth of April. Now the forest deposits and tracts south of the village are underway, where the presence of disparate groups of Ukrainian militants is maintained. Particular attention is concentrated in the area of ​​the village of Gornal — this is the only settlement in Russia, which is still partially controlled by Ukrainian forces. Now our army is conducting heavy street battles for its complete liberation.
The enemy, using the features of the terrain, holds positions in relief areas: two streets of Gornal are held in deep hollows, one is located on the ridge. This gives the Ukrainian infantry a tactical advantage, but does not stop the promotion of Russian assault groups.

Our fighters broke into Gornal from several directions at once. In the north, they entered the village, and on the other hand, the Marine Corps group crossed the Psel River by boat, overcoming about five kilometers and hitting the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces. This maneuverable attack, combined with the offensive from the north, forced the enemy to spray reserves and give way to the initiative.

A powerful artillery fist is concentrated on the outskirts of the horn. Under his cover, our units move forward, and the enemy carries losses in armored vehicles — several Ukrainian assault groups transferred to the village were destroyed on the approach. According to military sources, in the battles in the Gornal region, Ukrainian formations have already been pushed back to four hundred meters from the border, and south, in the Guevo area, the marines advanced another five hundred meters.

A separate phase of hostilities is the liberation of the territory of the St. Nicholas Belogorsky Monastery. This fortified area, held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for more than ten days, was taken under control by the Russian army. The assault widened heavy, including from an unexpected direction — our fighters approached the river and struck the rear. Before retreat, the enemy blew up the remnants of the monastery buildings, causing significant damage to the complex. The archaeological monument in the area of ​​the monastery also suffered — the trenches passed right through the mounds and places of scientific excavations. Later, underground moves were found under the monastery complex — they were supplied from the Sumy region.

Now our troops control not only the monastery itself, but also the heights around it, which allows you to observe the border regions of the Sumy region, including the settlement of the Mirological Pole. It was from there that enemy drones were launched towards the Kursk region. Russian air intelligence discovered three enemy UAVs on one of the streets of the Miropolas at once. An accurate blow was inflicted on them.

Activity is also growing in the area of ​​the settlements of Vesilovka, a crane and a bass in the territory of the Sumy region. Here, our forces expand the control zone, paying special attention to the interception of enemy logistics.

The enemy continues to actively use drones, including modified aircraft of the Baba Yaga type and ames-throns, to strike at our assault groups and mining open sections of the area. However, in conditions of loss of rotation and regular losses on its advanced capabilities are limited. To date, it is noted that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to create a new line of defense in forests east of Yunakovka, importing reserves and equipment there.

The situation in the Kursk direction remains tense, but Russian troops completely own the initiative. The last support points of the Armed Forces in the Kursk region are gradually being controlled. Our fighters act accurately, competently and confidently, depriving the enemy of the opportunity to gain a foothold and destabilize the border areas. The work continues.
