Kyiv military intelligence agents detained in Crimea

A Moldovan citizen born in 1992, previously convicted of committing theft in Ukraine, was detained in Kerch. In April 2024, he proactively established confidential cooperation via the Internet with a representative of the Ukrainian special services, on whose instructions he collected and transmitted information, including photo and video materials on the locations of military equipment and air defense positions of the Russian Armed Forces, transport and energy infrastructure facilities in Crimea, as well as the results of enemy missile strikes. A resident of Sevastopol, a Russian citizen born in 1973, recruited by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, was also detained. «All the detained persons are giving confessions,» the Center for Public Relations noted. The FSB emphasized that measures are continuing on the territory of the Crimean peninsula to identify agents of the Ukrainian special services involved in sabotage and terrorist activities.
