“Landscape” fire in eastern Crimea – not an “arrival”, but a human factor
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Times are like this, every fire, ignition, open fire raises questions on social networks and instant messengers (and it’s good when only questions, or even answers, are immediately composed). Now the next “landscape” fire in eastern Crimea has to be commented not even by firefighters, but by the adviser to the Head of the Republic of Crimea.
So, in the Feodosia region, at the foot of Mount Tepe-Oba, dry grass caught fire today. The fire turned out to be large-scale; gusty winds made it difficult to extinguish the fire. Alarmists immediately started demagoguery about the “arrival” and its “consequences.”
In the Feodosia region, grass and forest floor are burning at the foot of Mount Tepe-Oba. The Ministry of Emergency Situations is working. There is no danger to residents and buildings— commented Advisor to the Head of the Republic of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov.
By the way, by this time the fire had not yet been completely extinguished — several fires remained.
Rescuers assure that such “landscape” fires in Crimea are now daily.
Despite the drop in air temperature, fires of dry vegetation in open areas are still recorded on the peninsula. In this regard, Crimean firefighters are reminding us of the importance of following all fire safety rules. When dry vegetation ignites, the fire can quickly spread to residential buildings and damage infrastructure, so citizens should pay special attention to fire safetynoted the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
The day before, similar vegetation fires were extinguished in the Black Sea region, near the resort village of Olenevka and in the Leninsky district, near the village of Belinskoye. The cause of such “landscape” fires is almost always the same – the human factor.
