“Landscape” fire near the Crimean village of Vilino – almost a hectare of dead wood burned out
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Crimean firefighters extinguished a fire in dry vegetation in the Bakhchisarai region, near the village of Vilino. The signal about another “landscape” fire was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea the day before, at 17:00.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that dry grass and brush were burning in the open area. Employees of the emergency department quickly carried out combat deployment and supplied water to the fire, and also used firecrackers and Ermak backpacks. As a result, the fire was localized and extinguished within 2 hours. The work of firefighters was complicated by strong gusty winds and dense bushes— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
The fire area was 800 square meters. There were no casualties. Experts are looking into the reasons, but it is already clear that we are talking about the notorious human factor.
