Large families in Simferopol can receive compensation for expenses on purchasing school and sports uniforms

How to get compensation for expenses on purchasing school uniforms for children from large families? This was explained by the head of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Diana Feratova.

To receive compensation, one of the parents must submit an application to the social security authorities. The period during which the procedure can be completed is between August 1 and November 1 of the current year. The application can be submitted both in person and on the State Services portal— the press service of the Simferopol administration quotes Diana Feratova.

She also added that along with the application to the social security agency, it is necessary to submit documents certifying the identity of the applicant and family members and documents confirming the status of a large family. In addition, it is necessary to provide:

• information on the income of all family members for the last three calendar months preceding the month of filing the application for compensation;
• documents confirming the purchase of a school uniform: sales receipts (indicating the name of the product, its cost and the seller’s seal) and (or) cash receipts; approved strict reporting forms equivalent to cash receipts;
• a certificate from the place of study for persons aged 18 to 23 years, studying full-time in basic general education programs, professional educational programs and professional training programs for blue-collar jobs, employee positions at the expense of budgetary allocations from the federal budget, budgets of constituent entities of the Russian Federation or local budgets (for inclusion in the family when determining the average per capita total family income);
• details of the personal account in the credit institution to which the compensation will be transferred.

Compensation is established in the amount of the costs incurred for purchasing a school uniform for a child, but not more than 30 percent of the subsistence minimum for children.

In 2023, 1,039 large families with 2,494 children studying in general education institutions were able to receive this compensation.

In addition, an additional measure of social support for large families is provided — compensation for the purchase of sports uniforms for children. The criteria, deadlines for submitting documents and requirements for applicants are similar.

In 2023, 532 families with 1,739 children studying in general education institutions of the Crimean capital received such compensation.
