The Festival Square of Evpatoria has been dug up, but, as they say, with good intentions. Improvement work here is in full swing. Let us recall that in 2023, Evpatoria residents identified this public area for renewal by voting on the official website of the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” program.
City authorities promise: Festival Square will be completely transformed.
Benches and shade canopies, small architectural forms, 17 street lamps and 45 spotlights will be installed here; workers will also install a plant watering system, ramps for people with limited mobility, a toilet, car parking, and plant new green spaces.
Now specialists have already completed dismantling the old tiles. In addition, they are preparing the foundation for the construction of sidewalks and installing curb stones— reported the administration of Yevpatoria.
The facility is being implemented within the framework of the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” program of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. According to the contract, the contractor must complete the work no later than October 20, 2024.
