Laureates of the regional competition “Best Pedagogical Dynasty of Sevastopol” were awarded

CrimeaPRESS reports:

An event was held in Sevastopol to honor families who pass on the best traditions of pedagogy from generation to generation. The competition was initiated by the Department of Education and Science and became part of the events within the Year of the Family.

In the Year of the Family, it is with a special sense of pride and gratitude that we reward families who remain faithful to educational activities. From July 1 to August 12 we held a competition. This was the first competition in the history of the city for the best pedagogical dynasty. Eleven teaching dynasties took part in the competition. It was very difficult to evaluate them. Therefore, today all of them were awarded diplomas from the Department of Education and Science and memorable prizes. The oldest is 350 years old — the Ivanov-Sukhorukov dynasty. I hope that in the future holding this competition will become our good tradition.– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science Elena Andrus.

Families with at least three generations of dynasty and a total teaching experience of at least 40 years could participate in the competition. Applications came from 11 families, each of which presented the history of their dynasty. It was decided to reward all the contestants. The Ivanov-Sukhorukov dynasty can be considered a record-breaking dynasty. The total teaching experience of this dynasty is 350 years. To be a teacher is the destiny of the family of Dmitry Gavrilovich Prutskov, his four sisters, eleven children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Since 2006, the head of the dynasty, Margarita Dmitrievna Sukhorukova, has been working as a speech therapist in kindergarten No. 131. She is the winner of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “Educators of Russia”, laureate of the governor’s award “Best Teacher of Sevastopol”, and awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Education of the City of Sevastopol”.

In my work I am guided by the words of the famous teacher of all times V.A. Sukhomlinsky: “Childhood is the most important period of human life, not a preparation for a future life, but a real, bright, original, unique life. And how his childhood passed, who led the child by the hand during his childhood years, what entered his mind and heart from the world around him — this decisively determines what kind of person today’s child will become.” I love children very much and I have been with them for 32 yearsnotes Margarita Sukhorukova.

For the preservation and enhancement of the best pedagogical traditions, high professionalism, selfless devotion to the profession, many years of fruitful work, and great personal contribution to the education and upbringing of the younger generation, the dynasty was awarded diplomas from the Department of Education and Science and a memorial sign. The dynasty is also presented with a letter of gratitude from the department of religious education of the Simferopol and Crimean diocese, a blessing for devotion to the calling of a teacher, personal and family contribution and hard work in the field of spiritual and moral enlightenment and education of the younger generation.
