Lavender Christmas tree from Crimea has a chance to get into the Russian Book of Records

At the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” the results of the regional days were summed up. The Republic of Crimea received an award in the “New Year Russia” nomination for the first lavender tree in the country and the world, which was presented to guests as part of the thematic decade “Crimea. Investments».

The award was presented by the First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko. In total, 19 out of 89 regions were awarded in the “New Year’s Russia” nomination.

Let us remind you that a unique lavender tree, woven from 15,000 bunches of a fragrant plant, was presented to visitors of the IMF “Russia” at the region’s stand as part of the “Crimean Tree of Gratitude”, which took place on December 29. The event was attended by the General Director of the autonomous non-profit organization “Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements “Russia” Natalya Virtuozova.

We looked through the entire Russian Book of Records and did not find a single lavender Christmas tree in it — so, we claim— she said.

Natalya Virtuozova emphasized the uniqueness of the Christmas tree and agreed to the proposal of representatives of the Republic of Crimea to create her own Book of Records for the “Russia” exhibition. It can start with the Crimean lavender tree.

The extraordinary New Year tree was created by a lavender farmer from the Simferopol region, Inna Shevchenko, and one of the best florists of the republic, Anna Dzyuba.

In addition, as part of the “Tree of Gratitude”, the Development Corporation of the Republic of Crimea has prepared many surprises for guests — from meeting the Crimean Snow Maiden, dressed in a designer dress made of medicinal herbs, to certificates for accommodation in the best resort complexes of the peninsula and thousands of gifts from the most generous region countries.
