Lavender is cleaning in Crimea — “mowing” a sickle

Krympress reports:

Here they work mainly with the variety of lavender «Record» by the selection of the Nikitsky Botsada, which has proven itself, unpretentious in leaving and has a high oil content. About this, showing the correspondent RIA Novosti Crimea Lavender field, says Roman Malyshko, deputy chief agronomist of the Alushta etheric farm farm.

This is a demonstration nursery, here is half a hectare planted for excursions and photo shoots. In total, the enterprise has about five hectares under lavender.

Ether loves the sun

In the Crimea, the lavender fields spread out on the territory of the Bakhchisaray, Belogorsky, Leninsky, Simferopol districts, as well as near Alushta. Unlike the steppe fields, where the cleaning of flowers occurs in a tractor way — the count (when only flowers are cut), on mountain plantations, people are increasingly working manually — they cut the plants with a sickle.

They start work closer to noon: the more hot air, the more essential oil in raw materials, the baby explains.

We have a good indicator — 50 centners per hectare. This season promises to be successful, as there were rains — says the deputy head agronomist.

He shows how to properly wield a sickle, cutting off a bunch of lavender. It is important to do everything not only quickly, but also carefully so as not to annoy the bees, which also work here — they collect nectar. A little at a distance, behind the field, their apiary.

The carefully cut lavender is immediately sent to the plant, which is in walking distance. Here, not only essential oil and hydrolyte are produced here, but cosmetics based on them, soap, shower gels, make unique tea fees and cook jam in assortment. They also knit lavender in bundles: if you send a bouquet for 12 hours to a special drying cabinet, then it will become an excellent Crimean souvenir.

The Chinese choose a Crimean lavender cream

Our products are not only in Crimea and on the mainland, but also abroad — we have contracts with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan. Now we are working with China— says the deputy general director for the production of Arthur Shekhov.

And he clarifies: the Chinese do not buy raw materials, but natural Crimean cosmetics — creams, soap, shower gels.

The etomiclane plant in Alushta has been operating since 1922. In Soviet times, the enterprise was the leader in the production of essential oils of roses and lavender. And by the way, pink bushes are still growing here, planted under the USSR. After the collapse of the Union, the plant inherited the processing technologies and the invaluable experience of cultivating essential crops in the context of the landscape features of the Crimean coast, the enterprise notes.

The total area of the agricultural land of the plant is more than five thousand hectares. They grow not only lavender, but also a rose, rosemary, sage, Issop and coriander.

Crimea needs more seedlings

We uproot the fields that were under the Soviet Union in the ownership of the state farm. We also have a technology for arranged seedlings of seedlings. On the territory of the plant, in the village of Lavender, which we are now restoring, we installed the so -called vertical farm. Everything is most robotic as possible. Now we launch it, put it into operation— says Shekhov.

The fact that the enterprise in Alushta is visible in the point of view of nursery, the Minister of Agriculture of the region Denis Reduk also notes.

They (in the nursery of the state farm-factory-ed.) Grow up seedlings who grow in the field for half a year or a year, in just two to three months— he said, noted that in the future this will affect not only lavender, but also other cultures that Crimea is famous for.

According to him, the biggest problem for any etomiclane perfume and cosmetic cluster is the raw material base. But over the past five to six years in Crimea, there has been an active growth of etheric cultures traditional for the region.

About 1.5 thousand hectares in the Crimea are planted with essentialized crops. Of these, 800 hectares are busy with lavender, and this is the lion’s share, which is gratifying, ”he said.

The minister clarified that the state support of the essentiality industry is since 2020. This year, 15 million rubles are provided for these purposes — the funds will go to the laying of new stands: 80% of the cost of laying new hectares is compensated for agricultural enterprises. They also plan to plant 38 hectares of lavender and roses.

If we talk about this enterprise (Alushta state farm-ed.), Then support amounted to 135 million rubles. The issue of equipment remained problematic for the enterprise. And it was decided to allocate from republican funds for equipment that is associated with essential production production, about 129 million rubles, and also about five million — to lay new etherons— said the profile minister.

Ausomasheral cultures are well adapted to Crimean conditions, do not require irrigation. IN Russia is most developed in the Crimea.this is facilitated by climatic conditions. Since 2014, interest has appeared in it, the industry has been developing, and the area of planting is increasing. Various regional support measures are being taken to develop the industry. The costs of laying new fields and caring for them are reimbursed.

Earlier it was reported that created At the Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea (NIIISH RK), etheric cultures are characterized by a high content of essential oils and the original component composition.
