Laws that will come into force at the end of June

June 18. The list of vital drugs has been expanded
The list of vital and essential drugs (VED) has been supplemented with new items. This government order came into force on June 18.
Three combination drugs were added to the list for the treatment of patients with various viral and bacterial infections and infectious and inflammatory diseases. In addition, two new drugs needed by patients with multiple sclerosis were included in the list of vital and essential drugs.
The list of vital drugs is important because the prices for these drugs are regulated by the state. They are also used in the treatment of patients under the state guarantee program for free medical care.
22nd of June. Cossacks will receive a place in the mobilization reserve
Members of the Cossack society who have accepted obligations to perform public or other service and are in the reserves of the Armed Forces, Foreign Intelligence Service or FSB, will be able to enter the mobilization reserve of the Armed Forces on a voluntary basis by concluding an appropriate contract. These provisions of the law come into force on June 22.
It is assumed that the All-Russian Cossack Society should enter into an agreement with the Ministry of Defense, and military Cossack societies — with the territorial bodies of the Ministry. In this agreement it is necessary to indicate the number of Cossacks in reserve, the validity period of the agreements, the grounds and procedure for their early termination.
June 23. The passport and visa service will become more active in working with migrants
The multifunctional migration center of Moscow and the state enterprise “Passport and Visa Service” will be able to work more actively with migrants. The relevant law comes into force on June 23.
Employees of these organizations will be involved in accepting applications necessary for the issuance of visas, invitations, temporary residence permits, for the issuance or replacement of residence permits, permits for labor activities, including applications for re-registration of patents, foreign passports of citizens of the Russian Federation, and also to photographing applicants and conducting fingerprint registration.
The law also clarified that foreigners who come to Russia for purposes unrelated to work for a period exceeding 90 calendar days must undergo mandatory state fingerprint registration and photography within 90 calendar days from the date of entry into the Russian Federation. And for foreigners who come to work — within 30 calendar days from the date of entry into the Russian Federation or when applying for a patent or when receiving a work permit.
